CKYNODE began as a creative response to a graph theory project assigned in CS291 (Spring 2025) with Professor Gharibi, evolving into an interactive exploration of connections.
Tasked with presenting graph theory in a meaningful way, the project moved beyond a traditional slideshow, evolving into an interactive website where users can navigate routes between ports and explore multiple journeys.
Each port is named in honour of classmates and the professor, making
the project both memorable and relatable.
The graph invites exploration, revealing not just the shortest paths, but the many ways connections can unfold.
CKYNODE integrates Dijkstra's Algorithm and Depth-First Search (DFS) to identify and display up to four paths to a destination, beginning with the shortest.
The project brings graph theory to life, demonstrating how meaningful paths can emerge even within complex networks.
